White Hibiscus Iced Tea
Ingredients
- 4 heaping tbsp Saafara White Hibiscus (dried calyces)
- 4 cups filtered water, just off the boil
- 2–3 tbsp honey or agave syrup, to taste
- Juice of 1 lime
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
- Ice cubes
Method
- Pour the hot water over the white hibiscus and steep for 8–10 minutes, until the liquid turns a soft golden hue.
- Strain out the calyces and stir the honey into the warm tea until fully dissolved.
- Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until fully chilled.
- Stir in the lime juice, pour over ice, and garnish with fresh mint.
