Description
Vibrant West African Herbal Tea
Made from carefully selected Hibiscus sabdariffa calyces, Saafara Hibiscus Cut & Sifted brews into a vivid crimson infusion with a naturally tart, fruity flavor and refreshing aroma.
Known as Bissap in Senegal and throughout much of West Africa, hibiscus has long been enjoyed as a traditional herbal drink served both hot and chilled. It is also commonly known as Roselle and Jamaica in other parts of the world.
The dried calyces are carefully cut and sifted for convenient brewing and a bright, full-flavored cup. Naturally caffeine-free, this versatile hibiscus can be enjoyed on its own or lightly sweetened with sugar, honey, or another preferred sweetener.
Its crisp, tangy character also makes it excellent for iced tea, mocktails, syrups, fruit drinks, and culinary recipes.
